In todays article, Ben Yagoda takes us through seven grammar rules that are commonly misused. From semi-colons to misused words, he basically talks down to us and makes us feel dumb. Thats how I felt at least. The whole time I read the article, I was thinking things like "Who does he think he is?" and "Why is he such a know it all?" His rules and advice is heplful but I just dont like when people treat me like I'm dumb, because thats a little rude. Overall, I think the article was helpful, but could have been a little... nicer? I think the picture I included displays my feelings toward Ben Yagoda pretty well. A lot of the articles we have been reading, to me feel like they are written by men who have nothing better to do with their time except display their vast collection of knowledge on the internet. I think that his rules are helpful, but not all of them. I'm having some very mixed feelings about this article!
